The Maison
Anissa Bader
CEO of AKHOR

Anissa Bader is a graduate of Collège Calvin and holds a PhD in science from the University of Geneva. Her career is distinguished by the intersection of scientific rigor and cultural sensitivity. With AKHOR, she develops a vision of watchmaking that is both refined and contemporary, where technical precision is complemented by a genuine pursuit of meaning and transmission.
Since childhood, she has nurtured a fascination for ancient civilizations. These foundational worlds nourish her reflection on time — its measurement, memory, and symbolism. More than just an interest, it is an intimate guiding thread that runs through her journey and inspired the very name of the Maison.
In 2020, Anissa Bader took over the watchmaking manufacture CLAMAX SA. This transition marked the beginning of a new dynamic.
Building on the technical expertise and savoir-faire developed within CLAMAX, she then created her own project: AKHOR. Visionary and rigorous, she translates her demand for precision and her commitment to knowledge into the watchmaking universe, relying on solid foundations.
With AKHOR, she shapes a form of watchmaking where each creation goes beyond the mere measurement of time to become an experience — a subtle dialogue between emotion and the intelligence of craftsmanship.
